Please note: Energy Safe Victoria released new legislation in June 2018, taking effect on 1st January 2019. According to Australian Standards AS3000:2018, all circuits on a domestic property are required to have RCD protection, including split system air-conditioners. Because of this, an additional fee of $85 will be charged for each unit installation that requires RCD protection.
